Description

A protein-packed, guilt-free version of the classic Twix bar using creamy cottage cheese, natural caramel, and dark chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup soft dates
  • 2 tbsp almond or peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers or oats
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed graham crackers or oats with melted coconut oil and press into a dish to form the crust.
  2. Blend cottage cheese with maple syrup until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread the blended cottage cheese over the crust layer evenly.
  4. Blend soft dates with nut butter and vanilla to create the caramel layer and spread it on top of the cream layer.
  5. Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil and pour over the top layer.
  6. Chill in the fridge for 2–3 hours until firm.
  7. Slice into bars and enjoy.

Notes

For extra creaminess, use full-fat cottage cheese and blend until smooth. Use silicone molds or loaf pans for easy removal.
