- 1 cup Honey
- 1–2 teaspoons Chili flakes
- 2 teaspoons Apple cider vinegar
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- Optional: 1-2 Fresh chilies, chopped
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the honey gently.
- Stir in the chili flakes (and fresh chilies if using). Let the mixture heat for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the apple cider vinegar.
- Let the honey simmer on low heat for another 5-10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture if you prefer a smooth sauce.
- Pour the hot honey into a clean jar or bottle and let it cool before sealing.
Notes
Store in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator. It lasts up to 3 months.
