Description
Scrambled cookies are the chewy, gooey, rustic baking trend taking over kitchens—made by tossing all your favorite ingredients together for maximum flavor with minimal fuss.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup shredded coconut
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and both sugars.
- Add in flour, baking soda, and salt—fold just until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chunks, nuts, cranberries, and coconut.
- Drop uneven mounds of dough onto baking sheet using a spoon or scoop.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Don’t overmix the dough—imperfection adds to the charm. Chill for 15–20 minutes before baking for less spread and crispier edges.
