  • Author: MALAK
  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 18 cookies 1x

Description

Scrambled cookies are the chewy, gooey, rustic baking trend taking over kitchens—made by tossing all your favorite ingredients together for maximum flavor with minimal fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and both sugars.
  3. Add in flour, baking soda, and salt—fold just until combined.
  4. Stir in chocolate chunks, nuts, cranberries, and coconut.
  5. Drop uneven mounds of dough onto baking sheet using a spoon or scoop.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  7. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Don’t overmix the dough—imperfection adds to the charm. Chill for 15–20 minutes before baking for less spread and crispier edges.
